Warranty Policy

Limited Product Warranty

Solid Circuit Enterprises warrants that supplied products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of supply, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Solid Circuit Enterprises may, at its sole discretion:

  • repair the product;
  • replace the product with the same or equivalent product; or
  • refund the original purchase price of the product.

The remedies above are the sole warranty remedies available, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies only where:

  • the product has been correctly installed by a competent person;
  • the product has been used for its intended purpose and normal operating conditions;
  • all recommended commissioning, testing and maintenance procedures have been followed;
  • the product has not been altered, tampered with or repaired by an unauthorised person; and
  • proof of purchase can be provided.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover faults, damage or failure caused by or arising from:

  • incorrect installation, wiring or configuration;
  • misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage;
  • water ingress, contamination, corrosion or chemical exposure;
  • vibration, impact, heat damage or harsh environmental conditions;
  • reverse polarity, over-voltage, under-voltage, battery faults or power irregularities;
  • external system faults, host vehicle faults or third-party equipment interaction;
  • unauthorised modifications or attempted repair;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • consumables, batteries, fuses or items with a normal service life unless expressly stated otherwise.

Warranty Service Costs

Essential Warranty Cost Allocation Clause

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by Solid Circuit Enterprises in writing, this warranty does not cover any costs associated with:

  • removal of the product from any vehicle, machine, panel or system;
  • gaining access to the product;
  • fault-finding or diagnostic labour;
  • electrician, auto-electrical or technician labour;
  • call-out fees or site attendance charges;
  • freight, postage, courier or transport costs;
  • travel, accommodation or mobilisation costs;
  • reinstallation of repaired or replacement products;
  • recommissioning, testing or calibration;
  • equipment hire or substitute equipment costs;
  • vehicle, plant or machine downtime;
  • loss of use, loss of revenue or business interruption.

Solid Circuit Enterprises’ warranty obligation is limited to repair, replacement or refund of the supplied product only.


Return to Base Warranty

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, warranty assessment and service is provided on a return-to-base basis.

Products may need to be returned to Solid Circuit Enterprises for inspection and testing before any warranty claim is approved.


Warranty Claim Process

To make a claim, the customer must provide:

  • proof of purchase;
  • product model and serial number (if applicable);
  • description of the fault;
  • installation details if requested; and
  • any photos or supporting information required.

Products returned without prior approval may be refused.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solid Circuit Enterprises is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from any product fault or warranty claim.

Nothing in this warranty excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.


Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage as required by law. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
