Gen 4.0 Vehicle Alarm Panel (Fire)
Finding locations to mount vehicle alarm panels has become an artform, with all of the additional after market products such as TPMS, UHF radios and so on...to compete for space.
Fire Connect has developed a small form factor alarm panel, which is installed into a 25mm hole in the dash. The module is perfect for Light Vehicles, Buses and Construction machines.
The Generation 4.0 Alarm button provides all of the functions you would expect of a much larger conventional vehicle alarm panel, into a control unit which can be easly mounted under the dash and the Alarm button next to the instrument cluster.
The Gen 4.0 Alarm button has a tri-colour LED and an 85dB piezo providing clear indication of system status.

The one button provides all of the system functions:
1. A momentary press of the button scrolls throuth the DIM settings.
2. Press for 6 seconds to enter TEST mode
3. Press for 6 seconds when in alarm to RESET
4.A momentary press of the button, when counting down to engine shutdown will extend the shutdown time (one shot)
5.Pressing the button for 10 seconds when in alarm will override the engine shutdown.
LED sequencing and colours provide the technician with fault information:
- Amber latched - FAULT.
- Red - Latched - ALARM (Flashing = countdown to engine shutdown)
- Green - Power / OK
- Amber intermittent - Primary Power removed.
- Red Pulsing - System discharged.
- Red, Green, Amber - Engine shut-down over-ride.
